While this bun serves as a fun party updo, it’s a classic style that’s suitable for everyday wear too. With these loose braids at the top of your head it makes a standard top knot more appropriate for a day at the office or an evening out with friends. FINSIHED LOOK BRAIDED SPACE BUNS
Hair Prep: Start with second or third day hair, and curl it with a 1 1/2 inch curling wand then brush it out to get a loose wave.
Next part the hair right down the center, using the tip of your nose as a guideline.
Take each section on both sides and braid a dutch braid. please let me know in the comments if your interested in a “Step by Step Braiding Tutorial.”
Braid these pieces all the way to the end & secure them with elastics.
Next, take the first braid and pull it to the back and twist the end of the braid in to a circle. Pin the ends with bobby pins
I’ve also pulled apart the bun with my fingers until I got the fullness and look I wanted, basically I wanted it to almost look like a messy flower.
We are going to repeat the same steps on the other side.
Note – You can use as many bobby pins as you like, cause you wouldn’t want it to fall out!
Here is photo of how it looks after I pulled it apart gently.

The ending result is incredibly beautiful. But, I’m confused about what you mean when you say “take the first braid and pull it to the back and twist the end of the braid in to a circle”.
