Starting off with loose waves

Then gathering hair in to a loose half-up ponytail

Pull through this ponytail to create a simple twist, then pull it apart for more fullness

Just below it gather hair from the sides in to another loose ponytail – I used black rubber elastics that are tied around only twice

Then pull through this ponytail

Continue these same steps all the way down to create this braid

While I continue these simple steps I pull apart the braid at the same time, this braid is so easy plus it is more secure with all the elastics so it will last all day!

    Hi Kassandra,

Do you tie the full amount of the last bit of hair? Like you tie a normal braid’s end?

Hello! This is beautiful. I have TONS of layers and I’m always looking for a way to make a side braid work in my hair. Do you think this could work? Thanx much!!

This is the first tutorial for anything with my hair that I was able to do on the first try! I have jet black natural curly hair and this is my new lazy don’t have to wash hair every day look for the summer! Thank you…
