Gather hair into a high ponytail & I have added my Luxy Hair for more fullness!

Start by splitting your ponytail in half then with that section split it in half again and wrap it over the ponytail.

I choose to secure it with a black elastic because I love the way they peek through the braid.

Then you wanna splitting the hair underneath in half and wrap it around the front.

Make sure to secure with an elastic and keep the spacing even.

Continue the steps to however long you want your braid to be!

I made m y braid as long as I could & to end the braid you want to secure all ends with a elastic

To make the braid bigger I just pulled apart the sections until I got my desired look! Don’t be shy with this step!

  1. Hi Kassinka, I was wondering what types of hair ties do you use for your ponytails? I have thick, long hair and I would love to try this style, but my pony never likes to stay tight. LOVE your blog! I’m pinning like crazy! 🙂

    Thanks!

Sure! Just take two sections of hair and wrap it around with an elastic, if you have trouble understanding you can always search for a youtube video 🙂

  6. Which sections do you wrap around. The bottom sections or the top sections in the first step. The picture looks like you are using two to sections to wrap around.

  7. Yes the first step seems confusing I tried you tubing it as well….you should post a video this looks sooo much better then most other pictures I have seen!

  23. Thanks for sharing, it’s really helpful for me! I also have a wavy bob, and I love it. But sometimes I spent a lot of time to make my medium and long hair , so I’m looking when it grown, and I can make a braid.

I honestly use a lot of dru shampoo to add natural volume! Also doing hairstyles on second day hair adds more texture than styling clean hair.
